In addition to my years in Private Practice, my diverse professional experiences include working in various Private Outpatient Clinics, Youth Services Programs, Public Government Behavioral Health Programs, as well as School-based, Community-based & Primary Care-based Behavioral Health Programs.

I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology and Latin American Studies at the University of Pennsylvania; and later completed my Masters in Social Work (MSW) at Howard University, focusing on clinical work with an emphasis on Mental Health & Displaced Populations including Immigrant and Refugee Populations.

I am an Approved Clinical Social Work Supervisor in Maryland and have been a Field Instructor to both graduate MSW & undergraduate BSW students.​

I am a Native Bilingual & Bicultural Spanish-Speaking Psychotherapist who immigrated to the USA from Venezuela as a teenager, a grand-daughter of refugees. As an adult, I lived in Perú with my own young family; and now I raise my multicultural family in the DMV area.
